Summary
The SRE team will conduct a Disaster Recovery drill in the staging environment on EMS V4.1 on November 15th, 2025, from 10.00 AM IST - 4.00 PM IST . This will result in service interruption during the drill window.
Integrator Impact:
EMS V4.1 consumers will experience a service interruption in the stage environment.
There will be an intermediate outage for a period of 5-6 minutes between 10.00 AM IST - 04.00 PM IST for multiple DR failover drill scenarios.
Expect ~6 minutes of intermittent downtime for API calls.
EMS V4.1 API will be down during failover from the primary to the secondary region.
All operations will be available after failover.
Recommended Actions
During the drill, receiving continuous 5xx errors indicates that your API calls are not responding to the API change due to the following reasons:
Continuous 5xx errors during this period indicate service unavailability due to ongoing DR activity. No action is required on your side in this case; services will automatically restore post-failover.
If your application does not recover automatically after the DR drill or exhibits persistent failures beyond the downtime window, please notify the EMS support team.
